Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the StoryVideo mobile application (the "App"), published by Atul Vasudev A ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not download or use the App.
1. Eligibility & account
You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use the App. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.
2. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own lawful, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.
3. Your content
You retain ownership of the stories and prompts you submit ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to process Your Content solely to provide the App's features, including generating and stitching videos. You are responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the rights necessary to submit it.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the App to create or distribute content that:
- infringes the intellectual property or privacy rights of others;
- is unlawful, hateful, harassing, defamatory, or sexually exploitative;
- depicts real individuals without consent in a misleading manner;
- attempts to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the App or its services.
5. Credits and purchases
Certain features require credits that may be purchased through Google Play Billing. Purchases are subject to Google Play's terms. Except where required by law or expressly stated, credits and purchases are non-refundable and have no cash value.
6. AI-generated content and your responsibility
Videos are produced by automated AI systems from the stories, prompts, and reference material you provide. Such content may be inaccurate, unexpected, or unsuitable for your intended use. You are responsible for reviewing generated content before sharing or relying on it.
You are solely responsible for all content you generate, download, publish, distribute, or share using the App. If any video or other output created with the App is defamatory, harmful, offensive, misleading, infringing, or otherwise unlawful — including content that harms, defames, or misrepresents any person, group, or entity — you accept full and sole responsibility and liability for it. We merely provide the tools and does not create, endorse, monitor, or control the content you produce, and is not responsible or liable for how you use that content.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Atul Vasudev A from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to content you generate, use, or distribute through the App, or your breach of these Terms.
7. Intellectual property
The App, its design, and its underlying technology are owned by us and our licensors and are protected by applicable laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the App.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
